Hello,

I was just wondering if the Jet Boot Camp is still running and would like some information regarding the camp.

I have been flying in the hobby for many years now, but have only just recently been able to get into jets. It's something that I have wanted to do since I saw my first RC jet many years ago. So if it's possible for me, I would love to attend a boot camp like this.

Dustin, here is a plan for you to consider.  The first day, let's use the Bobcat and buddybox it just as we did before.  At the end of the first day, you maiden the Jetmach and adjust the engine and trim the airframe.  We spend the second day buddyboxing my trainer and hopefully, my soloing my trainer.  Sound like a plan????    Chic

Christian, as a former recent participant, all I can jump in and say is, "GO".  It is a great experience.  Great company, great atmosphere, great learning environment.  Heck, I'm going back to finish my certification and get my JetMach 60 jet trainer maidened by none other then Dustin himself. Even my wife wants to go with me when I return in July (From Virginia).   Chic

Dustin, I searched BVM's website in vain for the purple air fillers you had in your Bobcat.  Could you tell me where I can locate those items to purchase a couple?  Thanks.  Chic

Chic, not for sure if you have the right Jason, but my father, George passed away this last February on the 27th.  Thanks

"OMG"  Just returned from the most professional yet very friendly and concerned two days I have ever experienced in this hobby of ours.  Dustin's "JET CAMP" was a fabulous experience and adventure for me.  I considered myself an experienced pilot but what I learned in the two days with Dustin can not be duplicated by what I called my experience. The depth of my learning from my first jet flight on Saturday to my last flight on Sunday was tremendous. Granted it was good that I had a little experience - that made it somewhat easier for Dustin to get me on track.  He was forceful, playful, and always very professional.  I will finish my jet trainer, pack it in my Expedition EL, and cut a path back to Sanford, Fl to spend another two days with Dustin.  I know I'll leave there with my waiver on my next trip.  Can not believe how satisfied and happy I am that I flew down from Virginia to attempt "JET CAMP".  My many thanks and warm greetings to Greg, Jason, Jose', Peter, Tim, and the First Lady Jessica and the girls. Dustin, there are no words, you are certainly "The Man".  Be back soon.   Chic

What are the available dates for Jet training camp. I am an experienced pilot with several different planes from B25's to 40% Extra 300. I have just purchased my first jet and would like to know as much info about my new venture as possible. Thanks

Hello, where and when will this camp take place.  Very interested.   Chic

Would it be appropriate to put RC turbine training syllabi and checklists in this thread for people to consider?  Also, proficiency training is much required for the turbine pilot, just like the full scale pilot, certain maneuvers need to be practiced so we are good at them.  Touch and goes should NOT be an emergency procedure!
