Dustin describes a real situation, the split flap condition. He covers real life examples of what could happen and what to do if they occur during flight.

Had this occur flying my Bandit when I had a flap servo fail. Didn't realize what it was until after I landed the airplane and saw one of the flaps flapping in the breeze. I wasn't as astute as you Justin and landed the airplane with only one flap compensating with aileron. I normally deploy full flaps when turning final and was turning into the flap that was fully down so I didn't notice it until I straightened the model for landing and by then was to focused on the landing to think about what was occurring.
Doing this would likely not work for every airplane but the Bandit is reasonably forgiving and predictable.
